- Summary The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating maintenance activities within a high-pressure aluminum die casting manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and track maintenance work orders through the CMMS system.
- Maintain maintenance records, downtime logs, and equipment history files.
- Coordinate maintenance parts inventory and support spare parts management.
- Support maintenance planning during shutdowns, launches, and major repairs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency with: CMMS systems, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, ERP systems
- Experience with: Die cast equipment, Preventive maintenance systems, Robotics and automation, Spare parts inventory management, Shutdown planning
- Familiarity with: Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis.
- Basic understanding of: Industrial maintenance systems. Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical systems, Automation equipment
- Familiarity with: Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis. TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
- Working Conditions
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to: Heat, Noise, Molten aluminum operations, Industrial machinery, Forklift traffic, Combination of office and production floor responsibilities.
- Occasional overtime or weekend support may be required during shutdowns or equipment failures.
Nice to have
- 3+ years of maintenance, manufacturing, or maintenance planning experience preferred.
- Experience in high-pressure aluminum die casting or heavy manufacturing preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Associate degree or technical training in: Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing Technology, Business, Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
