About the role

  • SPT is a Sony Pictures Entertainment Company, a subsidiary of Tokyo-based Sony Group Corporation.
  • Designer to join our Creative Marketing team at Sony Pictures TV Studios (SPTS).

Responsibilities

  • Ideate and execute strategic design solutions specifically in regards sales presentations.
  • Design pitch decks, one-sheets, and presentation materials that are unique in style and visually interpret the story and tone.
  • Create high-concept visuals for series in development.
  • Ability to converse and collaborate on the creative level with senior stakeholders, including studio execs, writers, and show producers
  • Drive projects from concept through execution unsupervised.
  • Drive projects from concept through execution unsupervised. Projects include but not limited to: SPT presentations, sales pitch decks, one-sheets, and other presentation materials.
  • Collaborate with Jr. Designer to execute projects and approved creative.
  • Manage assets and archive projects accordingly before and after delivery.
  • Provide design direction along with the Executive Director to freelancers and vendors, if needed
  • Reporting to the Director, Design, this role will be responsible for designing decks and other pitch materials across the TV development slate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Fine Art, Graphic Design or Visual Arts
  • Ability to respond to business demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a strong background in presentation design and development.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Abobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint and Keynote.
  • Excellent composition, typography, color theory and typesetting required.
  • Speed, agility and ability to show a range of options is mandatory.
  • Working knowledge of all types of assets used for presentations

Compensation

  • The anticipated base salary for this position is $90K to $117K.
