Responsibilities
- ERG is a research and consulting firm that provides a wide range of support to federal, state, and commercial clients.
- ERG is seeking a Building Automation Systems (BAS) Technician with mid- to senior-level experience to assist with facilities projects at the Naval Support Facility (NSF) Indian Head.
- In this role you will perform HVAC control systems installation, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks related to mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage controls.
Requirements
- The qualified individual must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience without a license or certification OR 2 years of experience if licensed/certified
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in facilities maintenance, engineering, or a related field preferred
- Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings and digital graphic logic
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Refrigerant Reclamation and Recovery Certification
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) required
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance
- Must be a U.S. citizen, as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
- Must pass a pre-employment physical exam
- Must be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds
