- Assists in constructability reviews. - Inspects, monitors, and oversees construction field work tasks and activities on a project to ensure conformance to plans and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Performs office management engineer work when needed including but not limited to
- prepares documentation for change orders, reviews change order scope of work, schedule and cost, processes and maintains tracking logs for RFIs, submittals, pay estimates, and other deliverables. Assists in constructability reviews.
- Inspects, monitors, and oversees construction field work tasks and activities on a project to ensure conformance to plans and specifications. Reads, interprets, and confirms compliance with applicable contract documents.
- Initiates field changes to drawings and specifications and identifies discrepancies or conflicts within the documents.
- Remains current and knowledgeable of industry technology and tools used to perform inspection work through industry resources, training, and research.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Associates degree in relevant field and 6 years relevant experience, or
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field and 4 years relevant experience.
Nice to have
- Trained in digital construction management software such as Constructware, Asite or similar preferred.
- Construction Manager-in-Training (CMIT).
Skills
- Develops working relationships with agency staff and stakeholders.
- Operates relevant testing equipment as needed for the project.
- Understands Microsoft Office Suite and computer skills at an advanced level.
