Responsibilities

  • Ensure all international shipments have international documents, including the collection of Shipper's Export Declarations. File EEI when applicable.
  • Create Hazmat documents and ensure proper labeling by all parties
  • Reconcile open orders report with outbound / staged freight throughout the day with the Ops Team in the assigned building
  • Manage any Mode conversions

Requirements

  • Review all internal / external documentation requests for LTL / TL shipments, including carrier tracking or pro number updates as required
  • Ensure that all outbound cold chain orders each have a printed packing list for purposes of scheduling the required carrier
  • Ensure proper trailer temperature set points for all cold chain shipments and the required temperature is noted on the bill of lading and/or manifest
  • Manage communications where advanced shipment notice details are required
  • solid problem-solving skills are required.

  • shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

  • Experience and/or Training (Background in Transportation Finance and Audit)
  • Licenses/Certificates (Degree in Supply Chain or Finance APICS CSCP)
  • Technology/Equipment (Microsoft Office Suite of Services, Power BI User Level )

Skills

  • Education (Bachelor's Degree (preferably Supply Chain or Finance)
  • Experience and/or Training Background in operations and knowledge of the transportation industry and Mercury Gate or any TMS as a user)
  • Licenses/Certificates HAZMAT
