About the role
- Respond rapidly to life‑threatening emergencies, performing advanced procedures such as code response, airway management, and resuscitation
- We are seeking experienced, compassionate, and adaptable Intensive Care Registered Nurses to join a respected health system in Alaska, on a three‑year contract.
- As an ICU RN, you will play a vital role in delivering high‑acuity, evidence‑based care while working collaboratively with intensivists and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, high‑acuity patient care in alignment with ICU protocols and evidence‑based standards
- Administer critical medications, monitor complex vital signs, and manage advanced therapies including ventilators, IV infusions, and hemodynamic support
- Collaborate with intensivists, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to assess patient conditions and implement tailored care plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post‑discharge care to support recovery and informed decision‑making

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- English language proficiency
Compensation
- Competitive pay: $45-$65 USD per hour (based on experience and specialty)
