About the role
- FlexStaff is seeking an experienced Financial Controller with a current CPA certification for a permanent opportunity with one of our external clients, a leading food distribution and logistics company based in the Bronx, NY.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will lead the accounting function, oversee financial reporting, and partner with the CFO and executive leadership team to support strategic decision-making across a complex, operations-driven business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls Key responsibilities
Nice to have
- Experience in eCommerce, retail, grocery, supply chain, or PE-backed company preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - CPA required.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a Controller or similar leadership role.
