About the role
- They will also provide day-to-day legal review and advice on advertising, promotions, sweepstakes, contests, games, marketing messages, and related consumer-facing campaigns.
Responsibilities
- We're seeking a p art-time, fixed-term attorney to support the US marketing team in our LA office.
- Working under the supervision of the US Legal regulatory compliance lead, they will help build regular legal processes to enhance marketing compliance.
- Manage compliance requirements for sweepstakes.
Requirements
- Familiarity with all the following requirements, with working knowledge in at least one:

- Conduct legal research and prepare concise written analyses on federal and state marketing-compliance questions, as directed by the supervising attorney.
- Review marketing and advertising materials for regulatory compliance.
- Draft and review rules and disclosures for sweepstakes, contests, and games.
- Review influencer and endorsement arrangements and contracts.
- Draft and review agreements related to marketing activities.
- Provide practical, business-oriented risk assessments under tight campaign timelines.
- Admitted to a US state bar (California or Washington preferred), or bar exam taken with admission pending.
- Until admitted, the hire works as a Law Clerk under the direct supervision of a licensed attorney.
Compensation
- hourly, $40-$60 per hour, depending on experience
