About the role

  • As a Senior Heat Pump Engineer, you will take a leading role in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of high-performance heat pump and emitter systems.
  • You'll ensure all projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
  • This role requires a proactive, hands-on professional with strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Mentorship: Lead by example and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance, on-the-job training, and support to maintain high installation and service standards across the team.
  • Project Delivery: Manage and execute complex installation and commissioning projects for heat pump and emitter systems, ensuring work is completed on time, to specification, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Perform and oversee system installations, including underfloor heating, radiator systems, pipework, and associated electrical and plumbing connections.
  • Troubleshooting & Repairs: Lead fault-finding and repair work on electrical and plumbing issues, providing expert solutions and preventing recurring problems.
  • Client Relations: Manage client interactions professionally, providing clear communication, technical explanations, and confident handovers to achieve zero callbacks or complaints.
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with project coordinators to plan resources, manage schedules, and ensure timely delivery of parts, materials, and project milestones.
