Responsibilities

  • Contribute to projects throughout their full lifecycle, from conceptual design through construction administration.
  • Partner with Project Managers and Project Designers to execute interior architecture and design assignments.
  • Prepare and coordinate design development and construction documentation, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to project standards.
  • Lead and oversee the production of project documentation completed by junior designers.
  • Research and evaluate building products, materials, and construction methods to support design and technical solutions.

  • We're currently seeking an Interior Design Coordinator to join our dynamic Austin studio.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across our studios in California and Texas-and help bring high-performance, community-first design to life.
  • Mentorship from Managing Directors, Design Directors, and senior team members across disciplines.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
  • NCIDQ certification (or actively pursuing certification) required.
  • Proficiency in Revit required.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, accessibility requirements, construction materials, detailing, and specifications.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • experience with Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite.

Compensation

  • If you are hired at LPA, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience and/or project complexity.
