About the role
- Sony Pictures Entertainment is currently looking for a unique individual to be a key member of our FP&A team supporting our corporate and central functions.
- Based in Los Angeles and reporting to the VP of Corporate FP&A, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial reporting, analyses, and insights to enhance decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Support continual improvement of budget and forecasting processes to enhance data-driven decision-making
- Partner with accounting team to improve availability and flow of information
- Maintain reports and datasets in SAP-based planning solutions
- Deliver ad hoc financial analyses and modeling to support the needs of the business
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics
- Ability to translate complex financial and operational information into clear, concise insights for business leaders and non-financial stakeholders
- Experience with Enterprise planning systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, etc.)
- If you have solid FP&A experience, an affinity for the rapidly evolving media and entertainment industry, and a keen interest in process improvement you've come to the right place!
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the business and proactively engage with partners to support their objectives
Nice to have
- MBA and/or CPA preferred
- Media/entertainment industry experience
