About the role

Responsibilities
- include developing product specifications, creating detailed designs, and conducting compliance analysis using engineering tools.
- The Associate Mechanical Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide product development, conduct design reviews, and manage process improvements.
- Perform engineering tasks in developing new products and cost reduction.
- Create detailed design drawings.
- Define and lead prototype development and lab/field tests.
- Conduct design and safety reviews.
- Participate in new product development as a member of a design team.
- Produce conceptual designs and guide the development process to create practical designs using 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
- Assist in standard product support activities, such as analyzing and writing Engineering Change Orders.
- Apply and develop knowledge of Graco's operational systems, industry standards, Quality Management System, and customer applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent field.
