About the role
- Are you an experienced Commissioning Electrician who specializes in Medium Voltage work?
- Versys, a leading company in industrial commissioning, construction, maintenance, and panel fabrication, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medium Voltage Commissioning Electrician.
- This opportunity offers the chance to join an elite team of commissioning specialists working on a variety of projects across the United States.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex service upgrades, reconditioning, retrofits, etc., for our low-voltage power distribution products and systems
- Provide expert advice, training, and technical assistance to our support staff and newly recruited employees
- Use electrical test sets to perform tests like AC and DC High Potential testing, Transformer Turns Ratio testing, Power Factor testing, primary current injection, resistance testing, thermal scans on medium and low voltage electrical systems
- Experience in electrical engineering, design, and construction processes
Requirements
- The ideal candidate has extensive experience as a substation technician, with a track record of:
- Proficiency in Hexagon Smart Completions
- Proficiency in MS Office software
- Availability to travel across the Canada as required
