About the role

  • Summary: The Data Analyst plays an essential role in supporting data gathering, analysis, and report development.
  • The Data Analyst will assist senior team members while also creating output to help system leaders in understanding key metrics.
  • Effective Communication: - Participate in meetings and assist in presenting basic reports, findings, and analyses to stakeholders within the system.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in retrieving data from various sources and build reports and dashboards to visualize key metrics to system leader and/or assist with creating research datasets
  • Collaborate with the team to develop a fundamental understanding of data sources and the data extraction process.
  • Support team with data extraction and utilization efforts.
  • Data Analysis Support:
  • Learn and provide support for data analysis tasks, such as data cleaning and statistical analysis.
  • Be open to change and actively support change.
  • Maintain department policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and/or communicate to appropriate party function backlog at a set time.
  • A desire to build foundational knowledge in advanced analytic/statistical methods.

Requirements

  • Learn and develop proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Power BI, R, SQL, Microsoft Office, Python, and others.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, math/statistics, economics, psychology, etc.).
  • 1-3 years of experience in a data analysis-related role
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
  • Experience with at least one statistical programming language (e.g., R, Python, SAS, Stata, etc.).
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric is highly preferrred.
