About the role
- Summary: The Data Analyst plays an essential role in supporting data gathering, analysis, and report development.
- The Data Analyst will assist senior team members while also creating output to help system leaders in understanding key metrics.
- Effective Communication: - Participate in meetings and assist in presenting basic reports, findings, and analyses to stakeholders within the system.
Responsibilities
- Assist in retrieving data from various sources and build reports and dashboards to visualize key metrics to system leader and/or assist with creating research datasets
- Collaborate with the team to develop a fundamental understanding of data sources and the data extraction process.
- Support team with data extraction and utilization efforts.
- Data Analysis Support:
- Learn and provide support for data analysis tasks, such as data cleaning and statistical analysis.
- Be open to change and actively support change.
- Maintain department policies and procedures.
- Maintain and/or communicate to appropriate party function backlog at a set time.
- A desire to build foundational knowledge in advanced analytic/statistical methods.
Requirements
- Learn and develop proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Power BI, R, SQL, Microsoft Office, Python, and others.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, math/statistics, economics, psychology, etc.).
- 1-3 years of experience in a data analysis-related role
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
- Experience with at least one statistical programming language (e.g., R, Python, SAS, Stata, etc.).
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric is highly preferrred.
