Responsibilities

  • The Northrop Grumman CIDO Classified Solutions team is seeking a Network Communications to support information system lifecycle activities.
  • Perform Network Communications activities in support of classified government contracts.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree with 3 years of relevant experience
  • OR a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience
  • OR an Associate's Degree with 7 years of relevant experience
  • OR a High School diploma (or equivalent) with 9 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must have a Security+ certification (or greater) to be considered
  • Candidates must have a current US Government Secret clearance in order to be considered
  • Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment
  • Experience designing and maintaining LAN/WAN based networks, managing routing protocols on large LAN environments, and experience with routers, switches, and firewalls
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree Network Engineering
  • Active Top Secret, SCI, SAP/SAR access, or Polygraph
  • Experience with VMware NSX
  • Experience supporting Cisco Call Managers or other similar technologies
  • Experience designing, implementing, and managing largescale, multidomain network architectures
  • expertise in advanced routing, security, and mission critical systems
  • Experience with configuring TACLANES, and/or encryption solutions
  • Experience with Assessment & Authorization processes

Skills

  • Maintains operations of LAN/WAN/VPNs and encryption technologies
  • Conduct capacity planning, performance forecasting, and present recommendations to program managers.
  • Resolve incidents (WAN failures, security events, etc.) within expected tolerances, coordinating cross functionally with teams as needed.
  • Coordinate third-party maintenance for network equipment.
  • Work performed independently; senior staff may provide strategic guidance.

Compensation

  • $89,400.00 - $134,200.00
  • Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
  • Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
  • The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
