Responsibilities

- The Northrop Grumman CIDO Classified Solutions team is seeking a Network Communications to support information system lifecycle activities.
- Perform Network Communications activities in support of classified government contracts.
Requirements
- Master's Degree with 3 years of relevant experience
- OR a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience
- OR an Associate's Degree with 7 years of relevant experience
- OR a High School diploma (or equivalent) with 9 years of relevant experience is required
- Must have a Security+ certification (or greater) to be considered
- Candidates must have a current US Government Secret clearance in order to be considered
- Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment
- Experience designing and maintaining LAN/WAN based networks, managing routing protocols on large LAN environments, and experience with routers, switches, and firewalls
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree Network Engineering
- Active Top Secret, SCI, SAP/SAR access, or Polygraph
- Experience with VMware NSX
- Experience supporting Cisco Call Managers or other similar technologies
- Experience designing, implementing, and managing largescale, multidomain network architectures
- expertise in advanced routing, security, and mission critical systems
- Experience with configuring TACLANES, and/or encryption solutions
- Experience with Assessment & Authorization processes
Skills
- Maintains operations of LAN/WAN/VPNs and encryption technologies
- Conduct capacity planning, performance forecasting, and present recommendations to program managers.
- Resolve incidents (WAN failures, security events, etc.) within expected tolerances, coordinating cross functionally with teams as needed.
- Coordinate third-party maintenance for network equipment.
- Work performed independently; senior staff may provide strategic guidance.
Compensation
- $89,400.00 - $134,200.00
- Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
- Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
- The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
