About the role

  • Disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the provider.
  • Position Details: · Schedule: Part-Time, 3 days/week (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM). · Location: In-person role. · Caseload: 3-6 Veterans per day on average. · Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary tools for documentation.

  • Audiologist - Veteran Disability Assessments We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist to join our team in performing medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
  • As part of this role, you will review the Veteran's medical records, which are uploaded into a secure computer portal, before conducting a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test.
  • You will then complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the portal, generating the medical documentation needed for the VA to determine the Veteran's eligibility for benefits.
