About the role

  • We have an opportunity for a Postdoctoral Scientist to join the Martens lab at the University of California, San Francisco.
  • Hanna Martens investigates how aging disrupts the tissue microenvironment by altering extracellular matrix organization, mechanical signaling, and cell-cell communication.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead independent research projects
  • Design, execute, and interpret rigorous experiments
  • Stable research support through HHMI
  • Strong support for fellowship and grant applications

Compensation

  • $70,000.00 (minimum) - $80,500.00 (midpoint) - $91,000.00 (maximum)
  • HHMI's salary structure is developed based on relevant job market data.
  • Typically, a new hire for this position in this location is compensated between the minimum and the midpoint of the salary range.
