About the role
- You will play a key role in designing and optimizing user experiences for digital loan and account applications, ensuring workflows are efficient for internal users and effective for end users.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to UX design efforts across the product lifecycle, from discovery through final design specifications and delivery
- Design, prototype, and test user experiences for digital financial products
- Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to align user needs with business goals and technical considerations. Participate in discovery efforts to help define problems and shape design opportunities
- Communicate design rationale clearly by articulating the "why" behind decisions-including user needs, business context, and intended outcomes-so cross-functional partners can make informed decisions
- Work with Engineering throughout design and development to validate feasibility, understand constraints, and support the delivery of practical, high-quality solutions
- Participate in agile processes such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews to ensure design intent is well understood and implemented effectively
- Manage stakeholder expectations and clearly communicate design decisions and tradeoffs
- Work within an established design system, leveraging and improving patterns as needed
- Design within product, technical, and regulatory constraints while maintaining usability
- Create scalable design systems, components, and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma
Requirements
- Experience designing responsive web applications across desktop and mobile breakpoints grounded in a mobile first mindset
- Expert proficiency in Figma (design systems, components, prototyping)
- Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
- Experience or familiarity with user research and usability testing methods
- Experience in B2B or B2B2C environments with complex workflows
- 5+ years of UX design experience, preferably in enterprise (B2B) or complex products
- Strong experience working within design systems at scale
- Comfort using AI tools as part of the design workflow
