- The Maintenance of Traffic Foreman is required to perform temporary traffic control operations in order to maintain traffic on a roadway construction project in a manner that protects and conveys the public in an efficient manner within a specified work zone.
- Set-up and maintain traffic control devices, installation and service work-zone signs, and lights Set up and maintain assigned Maintenance of Traffic activity including and detours and lane closures Coordinate services with the on-site client representative or officials Load and unload equipment into and out of company vehicles Deliver / Pick-up equipment from customer jobsites Coordinate activities of traffic control laborers to ensure compliance with MOT guidelines Make recommendations on existing conditions to coordinate procedures for traffic maintenance activities Complete daily paperwork and reports as required by supervisor If approved driver, may operate a company vehicle and maintain company standards with Motor Vehicle Record Desired Qualifications: Preferred 2 years in Maintenance of Traffic / Temporary Traffic Control or related industry (i.e. Road Construction, Highway Maintenance, Construction) High School Diploma/GED and be able to communicate clearly both written and verbally Advanced MOT Certification Required Requirements:
