About the role
- This unit works with many surgery groups specializing in the following surgeries: tracheostomies, laryngectomies, hernia repairs, colo-rectal surgery, cholecystectomies, appendectomies, ostomy takedowns, as well as other procedures.
- Patients typically have drains, wound vacs, and Foley catheters.

Responsibilities
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
- You'll be empowered to think boldly, collaborate with humility, and drive change through fearless curiosity.
Requirements
- RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program.
- Appropriate professional certification (either clinical or leadership) is required within 1 year of eligibility for professional certification exam.
