About the role
- Must pass orientation and initial competency assessment prior to independent assignment requiring the applicable skill, and must complete and pass all annual competencies.

- Important dimensions of this position consist of professional commitment, team work, interpersonal skills, safety, good customer relations, fiscal responsibility and broad pharmacy knowledge.
- At least three years pharmacy technician experience required.
- Hospital experience preferred.
- Licensure/Certifications
- State of California Pharmacy Technician license or undergraduate California Pharmacist Intern license is required.
- For those hired after March 1, 2024, having the National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) is preferred, and it becomes a requirement within the first six months of employment.
- Existing employees hired prior to March 1, 2024, must also obtain PTCB certification within their first year of employment.
- This position requires driving.
Compensation
- Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $2.27
- Hourly Night Shift Differential: $3.41
