About the role
- Quality Inspector - Aerospace Source Inspection:
- This is a field-based position requiring independent travel to supplier locations throughout Minnesota and surrounding areas as needed.

- Perform visual, dimensional and documentation inspections.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum three (3) years of quality inspection experience in aerospace, manufacturing, electronics, or a related field.
- U.S. Citizenship required due to customer requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, blueprints and technical documentation.
- Working knowledge of quality systems, inspection methodologies, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience using standard inspection and measurement tools.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- The ideal candidate will possess strong technical inspection experience, professionalism in customer and supplier interactions, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Complete inspection reports and documentation accurately and within required timelines.
Nice to have
- Previous source inspection or supplier audit experience.
- IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and/or IPC-A-600 certification.
- Familiarity with AS9100.
- Travel Requirements
- Local and regional travel required based on supplier support needs.
- Lodging and Meals & Incidental Expenses (M&IE) per diem provided for qualifying travel in accordance with company travel policies.

Skills
- Utilize precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gages, thread gages, and other inspection tools.
Compensation
- $26.00-$32.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
