About the role
- You will also be responsible for timely, accurate, and actionable chemical analysis of ore, process streams, and final products.
- You will play a critical role in bridging leaching research and laboratory analytics with plant operations, helping ensure processes are robust, efficient, and suitable for future development & scale-up.
Responsibilities
- Drive leaching column operations including taking routine samples, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining high level of cleanliness
- Drive ore handling including crushing, sorting by particle size, and taking representative samples
- Perform elemental and compositional analysis of solid and liquid samples using ICP, NMR, XRF, Titrator, or similar analytical techniques
- Document analytical results in laboratory information systems and maintain clear experimental records and material metrics using digital tools and software
Requirements
- Experience working in minerals processing, metallurgy, chemicals, specialty materials, or similar industrial environments
- Familiarity with chemical processing (pumps, columns, instrumentation, etc) or crushing equipment (crushers, grinders, conveyors, sorters, etc)
- Ability to read and follow SOPs, equipment manuals, and safety guidelines
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic mechanical fabrication and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience operating analytical or similar equipment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams
