About the role
- Field team member for field data collection activities and surveys (e.g., invasive plants, breeding bird, fish habitat quality)
- Assist with preparing desktop and field based environmental assessment reports, regulatory submissions, and environmental management plans.
- Act as field representative, conducting site inspections and reports and providing directions to external stakeholders (i.e. contractors and client representatives).
Responsibilities
- Our Water Resource and Environment Division manage projects involving watercourses, environmental and fisheries improvements, and erosion mitigation, that require provincial and federal permit approvals and/or notifications.
- We also support various projects conducted by other Binnie Divisions, including highways, bridge replacements, road rehabilitation, culvert replacements, pump station upgrades, and other infrastructure developments.
- This is an ideal role for a motivated candidate who is looking to further develop their career in environmental assessments, monitoring and reporting.

Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous related work experience conducting environmental assessments, regulatory permitting, and reporting
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License required

- The salary for this position is commensurate with experience; the salary range for this position is $57,950 - $85,500 annually.
