About the role

  • The Process Engineer is also responsible for ensuring process specifications and associated documentation is maintained and communicated/trained.

Responsibilities

  • The Process Engineer position is responsible for ensuring proper optimized operations to produce products and develop processes to ensure quality, cost and efficiency plans are met.
  • Lead process design reviews, raw material qualification and product and process qualification and capability studies.
  • Performs PPA/FMEA on all major process and raw material changes.
  • Leads the application and interpretation of SPC charting Train and educates personnel on company products, plant and corporate quality policies and procedures; including internal and external personnel, suppliers and customers.
  • Conduct and or lead breakdown analysis investigations, perform failure analysis, Fishbone analysis and focused improvement activities for the production line.
  • Instruct and train plant personnel on Root Cause Analysis; Support Root Cause Analysis as a focused manufacturing improvement strategy.
  • Review engineering specifications and drawings, propose design modifications to improve manufacturing processes within cost and business requirements.
  • Support all Plant Safety improvements/projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical) coupled 2+ years of demonstrated related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of engineering fundamentals
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Suite, PLC and AutoCAD.

Compensation

  • $68,000-$93,500
