About the role

  • This is a field-based, relationship-driven role for someone who is scientifically curious, commercially minded, and energized by variety in their week.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with Sales Leadership, Channel Partners, and Business Unit Managers to support the execution of revenue generation strategies for assigned market segments and products.
  • Support sales conversion efforts by helping to implement strategies that increase market share for JAX's products and services at commercial and academic accounts.
  • Contribute to the development of sales solutions and presentations for Business Unit Managers, primarily in support of larger studies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce.com, including customer details and business opportunity pipelines.
  • Provide technical and scientific support in the field, including assisting with product presentations and gathering customer feedback.
  • Accompany regional Channel Partners on customer visits to support tactical sales efforts and gain exposure to product and service training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrated ability to support the development and execution of business strategies and assist in building new customer relationships.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's or PhD a plus, with 5-7 years of related sales experience.
