About the role

  • As a Senior Designer at Marketwake, you will be a visionary leader, responsible for shaping the creative direction of high-profile projects.
  • This is a hybrid role located in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Creative Leadership: Lead and oversee the design process across multiple projects, from brainstorming and concept development to final execution.
  • High-Impact Design: Craft compelling visual designs across various digital and print platforms, ensuring creative solutions align with client goals and objectives.
  • Client Collaboration: Communicate design concepts and strategies clearly and effectively to clients, incorporating feedback to refine and elevate the final deliverable.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior and mid-level designers, fostering growth and maintaining high standards of design quality across the team.
  • Brand Stewardship: Maintain and elevate brand consistency across all touchpoints, including web design, branding, marketing collateral, and social media.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising on quality or creativity.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay current with design trends, tools, and emerging technologies to keep our work fresh, innovative, and cutting-edge.
  • UX/UI Experience: Drive the design and execution of user-centered digital experiences, working closely with developers, web designers, and strategists to build intuitive, impactful websites and applications.
  • Problem Solving: Anticipate design challenges and create strategic solutions that exceed client expectations and enhance overall project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma or other UX/UI design tools.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles with experience in leading web and digital design projects.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to present creative concepts with clarity and persuasion.
  • Experience in mentoring or leading a team of designers.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing time effectively to meet project deadlines.

  • 5+ years of professional design experience, preferably in an agency or fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and execute high-level design projects across multiple platforms (web, print, social, etc.).
