About the role

Responsibilities
- Support activities and initiatives for continuous improvement of tools and development processes as a Team leader for full project, sub-system design or development;
- Perform code reviews and propose solutions to various problems;
- These systems are renowned for providing fast data throughput and extreme data integrity, while accelerating design cycles and reducing prototyping costs.
Requirements
- Support the proposal and design review process as required, propagating design re-use and best practices;
Nice to have
- Degree: A Bachelor or Master degree from an accredited engineering or physics program.
- Possess 7 to 15 years of experience of software development with LabVIEW and/or TestStand.
- Experience in software development with either C++, C# or VB.Net is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of the manufacturing environment.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong ownership of responsibilities and can be managed by objectives alone but skilled at escalating issues when necessary.
- Knowledge of XML and UML.
- Knowledge of Windows operating system, TCP, HTTP and UDP protocols.
- Experience in designing GUI as well as the quality assurance process and unit testing.
- Mobility: Up to 30% of his time might be at customer site.
- Multilingual: Fluent in English, written & spoken. Spanish or French is a great advantage.
