Position Overview TEI Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled JM Ironworker to join our team working on Covanta projects.
As a JM Ironworker, you will be responsible for the installation and fabrication of structural steel and metal components in various construction environments, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of structures and metal fittings.

Assist in the erecting and dismantling of scaffolding, shoring, and brackets for site safety and support.
Ensure that all work performed is in compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
Inspect the work sites to ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications.

Complete required documentation to report on work completed and materials used.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in steel erection and fabrication in a construction context.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols related to ironworking.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in tight spaces or at high elevations.

Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
