About the role

  • Plays a key role in delivering business results and driving operational efficiencies.
  • Under guidance of the Supply Chain Manager, Inventory Control is responsible for the day-to-day operations related to the incoming, shipping, and pre-weigh warehouse inventories.
  • Schedule: 2nd shift Monday-Friday 3:00pm - 12:00am.

Responsibilities

  • Manage cycle counts of product inventories on a regular basis.
  • Develop and implement improvements to existing warehouse operations and procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs.

Requirements

  • Ability to sit, balance, climb, stand, bend, squat, squeeze, kneel, turn, crouch, and stoop repeatedly.

Nice to have

  • 2nd shift Monday-Friday 3:00pm - 12:00am.
  • Overtime may be required for this position.
  • Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies
  • Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity.
  • Track inventory accuracy rates on daily counts.
  • Work with other teams including sales, shipping, and purchasing.
  • Train other employees in cycle counting and inventory control.
  • Check date-sensitive products for expiration and facilitate removal or transfer of product as needed to the Waste Storage Area.

  • Shows the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Displays the ability to multitask and handle multiple issues at the same time without stress.
  • Superior organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience Required High School Diploma.
  • Basic mathematical skills Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Warehouse experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification.
