About the role

  • We recognize that without coaches, parents, and volunteers, organized youth sports could not exist.
  • You'll report to one of our Directors of Engineering.
  • You hold a high bar for judgment and ownership regardless of how code gets written.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop your engineers through regular 1:1s, clear expectations, and opportunities that stretch their skills and build toward their goals.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to shape roadmap priorities, navigate trade-offs, and drive predictable delivery by helping your team break work into shippable increments.
  • Set clear standards for product quality and engineering craft, and help the team consistently deliver work that meets them regardless of pace or pressure.

Requirements

  • 4+ years leading engineering teams and 6+ years of software development experience, with a track record of managing and growing senior engineering talent.

Compensation

  • The target salary range for this position is between $209,000 and $235,000.

  • As Sr Engineering Manager, you'll lead and grow a team of engineers working across iOS, Android, Web and backend platforms.
  • You will shape the technical direction of the team's systems and partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to connect roadmap priorities to real user and business impact.
  • Hire and onboard strong engineers, keeping the bar high on values alignment, skill fit, and AI fluency as a core part of how they approach their work.
