About the role
- Sonoma Consulting has two business divisions - IT Consulting Services & Executive Search to serve its 150 national clients which range from entrepreneurial start-ups to Global Fortune 500.
Responsibilities
- Ability to understand technical architecture design of applications and communicate technical options and alternatives to Business Customers
- Deliver accurate, detailed, quality documentation
- Develop/maintain test plans, use cases suitable for UAT
- Ability to lead to gather user requirements via user interviews, JAD sessions
- Create and maintain data mapping between systems, web services and user experiences.
- Ability to collaborate with project managers in defining detail tasks for project plans
- Collaborate with business partners to analyze and understand business problems and needs
- Possess thorough understanding of the business process and related information systems to create current business process map ("as - is" process map)
- Elicit business and user requirements from business partners using a variety of industry standard/best practices techniques
- Document, categorize and prioritize business, user and system requirements
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Information Technology systems and Software Development Lifecycles (ie Waterfall and Scrum)
- Strong understanding of company and industry standard/best practices in all areas of development activities
- Strong understanding of testing methodology
Nice to have
- Experience in captive automotive finance and/or finance experience
- Understanding of legal, compliance and privacy requirements in finance industry
- Digital, Mobile Platform Technology experience
- Customer facing web experience
- CRM systems experience
- Digital analytics, BI experience
- Technical/IT background
- Experience with rules/decision engine
