About the role

  • We are seeking O&M Technicians at multiple experience levels (Tier 1-4) to join our growing Operations & Management (O&M) team.
  • These roles are critical to ensuring the reliable performance, safety, and efficiency of our commercial solar energy systems.
  • Whether you're newer to the field or bring extensive solar experience, you'll play an important role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing solar system performance while working in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on solar panels, inverters, and related electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support commissioning and ensure new solar installations meet quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate service records, documenting maintenance, repairs, and system performance data.
  • Maintain tools, testing equipment, and work vehicle in good working order.
  • Senior-level technicians (Tier 3-4) will lead troubleshooting efforts, provide advanced diagnostics, and mentor junior team members.
  • Commercial rooftop solar is the fastest, smartest way to build new clean power - delivering megawatts of generation in months, not years, and powering America's energy and future right where it's needed most.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in solar, electrical, or related technical fields.
  • 4+ years of experience in solar O&M, electrical, or related fields.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Experience commissioning systems and leading field teams.
  • All Levels:
  • Tier 1-2 Technicians:
  • Basic understanding of PV systems and electrical safety.
  • Willingness to learn through training and mentorship.
  • Tier 3-4 Technicians:

Nice to have

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • technical or trade certification in electrical, mechanical, or renewable energy fields a plus.
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with electrical systems.
  • Competent with hand and power tools
  • comfortable using multimeters and insulation resistance meters (IV Curve tracer preferred).
  • Able to work safely at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
