- Key duties include maintaining and cleaning respiratory equipment, handling and processing specimens, ordering supplies, and providing thorough documentation of patient histories, test results, and monthly reports.
Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Support inventory management including monitoring, receipt, and appropriate storage of supplies; report inventory replenishment requirements to relevant teams.
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapy credential is required from the National Board of Respiratory Care.
- Perform quality control activities, document results, and escalate issues as required.
- Licensure, Registration and/or Certification Required by Law:

Nice to have
- Associate's degree from an accredited school of respiratory care required.
- Bachelor's degree from and accredited school of respiratory care preferred.
- Basic Life Support required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support required.
- 2+ years of pediatric respiratory care experience required.
- Experience within a pediatric critical care setting preferred.

- Presents information in a clear, well thought out way and tailored to the audience.

- Promptly and effectively responds to patient queries and requests.
- Explores optimal solutions for patient needs with a focus on seamless hand-offs with other patient care teams.
Compensation
- In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St.
- Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
- It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
- A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $29.00 - $50.50 per hour for the role of Respiratory Therapist.
- This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
