Our Company is currently looking for a Staff Scientist.
This is a newly created position located in Camarillo, California location.

Develops analytical methods. Organizes, evaluates and draws conclusions from experimental data; makes experienced technical judgments.
Maintains familiarity with literature and recent advances in particular fields of interest; acquires knowledge and understanding in related fields.
Performs analyses to support products. These projects are usually limited in scope and typically involve the application of established analytical methods to support a specific product issue

Support for method transfers may also be required.
A Ph.D. and 4+ years of industry experience is required.
A Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of industry experience within a biopharmaceutical development program is also acceptable
Position requires hands-on experience with analytical techniques and practical knowledge of operation of instrumentation typically used in analysis of proteins
Must have established expertise in the development of often complex analytical methods for biologics
Must have a strong working knowledge of laboratory GMP and works to reinforce such knowledge in others
Must have some previous responsibility for planning R&D activities and program timetables
