- This position applies engineering principles in soils mechanics, hydraulics, structural theory, and surveying while gaining hands-on field experience.
- Working closely with project managers, superintendents, and field teams, the Project Engineer I ensures project efficiency, compliance, and quality while upholding Forgen's Core Values and safety culture.

Responsibilities
- Perform technical analysis of the remediation methodologies of various previously remediated projects.
- Maintaining project record documents.
- Perform technical review of contract plans and specifications.
- Manage, interpret, and perform site surveying.
- Perform additional assignments and special projects as directed.
- Evaluate risks and effectively resolve challenges, champion safety and deliver exceptional quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in construction or engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project management software.
- Perform other administrative or office duties as required or as assigned.
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently, prioritize and meet deadlines.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and USACE QCS systems.
- Experience with site surveying using both conventional and GPS methods.
- Assisting in the development of cost estimates and proposals.
- Experience with materials procurement and purchasing.
