About the role
- As a Systems Architect, you'll serve as the technical leader for some of our most strategic customers.
- This is a highly technical, customer-facing role that sits at the intersection of electrical engineering, software systems, workflow architecture, and product strategy.
- You'll work closely with customer engineering leaders, IT teams, and individual contributors while partnering internally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Experience.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable engineering workflows using AllSpice, PLM systems, CI/CD infrastructure, AI tools, and customer-specific processes
- Manage and mentor Forward-Deployed Engineers supporting customer implementations
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to influence platform capabilities and future direction
- Build repeatable implementation patterns, reference architectures, and deployment playbooks
- AllSpice is building the engineering intelligence infrastructure for modern hardware teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Experience working in hardware development environments, including PCB, electronics, or embedded systems development
- Strong understanding of engineering systems, software, and workflows
- Ability to communicate effectively with executives, engineering managers, and individual contributors
Nice to have
- Experience leading complex technical deployments in enterprise environments
- Experience using or administering ECAD tools such as Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, Xpedition, or similar platforms
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and software development workflows
- Experience with APIs, automation frameworks, and enterprise integrations
- Experience in customer-facing architecture, consulting, or implementation roles
- Experience with PLM, requirements management, and engineering data systems
- Experience translating customer requirements into product requirements, technical specifications, or roadmap recommendations
- The Systems Architect plays a critical role in making those transformations successful.
