About the role

- In this role, you will conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on aerospace products using cutting edge methods including liquid penetrant (PT), magnetic particle (MT)ultrasonic (UT), eddy current (ET), and/or radiographic (RT).
Responsibilities
- Develops, deploys and implements tests or inspections and data collection techniques utilizing evolving technology.
- Develops program specific non-destructive testing documents.
- Develops and implements processes and procedures for new or revised non-destructive testing methods.
- Audits, validates and approves systems and techniques of suppliers and processors.
- Develops certification training and examinations.
- Develops innovative test processes and equipment.
- Develops principles and methods for analyzing test, inspection or statistical data.
Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience reading, understanding and interpreting engineering technical information (e.g., drawings, handbooks, industry standards and specifications)
- More than 5 years of experience interpreting/developing policies, practices, processes, and procedures as they apply to technical documentation to ensure quality product delivery
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) applicable to the testing method being used.

- Skills and knowledge to audit NDT facilities for compliance with applicable requirements.

Compensation
- USD $99,000-$125,000
- Summary pay range: USD $99,000-$125,000
