About the role

JBT Marel in Eastlake, OH is looking for a Manufacturing Planner.
This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and interested in gaining experience in manufacturing operations.

Collaborate with Sales Account Executives, suppliers, and delivery personnel to discuss timelines and answer inquiries, while also communicating shipping delays.
Provide job costing support to internal team members for parts not previously manufactured.
Perform all duties and assigned tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
Assist in writing new SOP documents to implement change.

You will provide support to the manufacturing planning team by handling administrative tasks and assisting with the coordination of production schedules.

High school diploma required.
Experience with manufacturing process, production planning, and job management.
Knowledge of industrial processes such as: Saw, Lathe, Mill, Heat Treat, Plating, Grinding and Assembly.
Experience reading and understanding engineered drawings.
Experience with manufacturing and fast-paced environment.
You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
Mechanical work history and tool knowledge
Proficient working on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications with additional ERP (Epicor) scheduling and material planning experience.
Safety throughout all job responsibilities.
Display and promote a positive work environment.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Travel & Location:
You will be on site at our Eastlake, OH facility.
