Responsibilities
- Maintain the AED licenses and number of trained personnel firmwide, including keeping the AccuTrack website up to date
- Assist Office Leads and Functional Leaders to react to and assist with any type of crisis (inclement weather, critical life safety, etc.) and coordinate firm or office support and response thereto
- Manage the K&S Preparedness Portal, conducting monthly audits of employees who have not registered and follow up with the Office Leads to ensure compliance
- Maintain the Crisis Leader Teams page and monthly CMT contact lists
- Work with Office Leads to maintain the Crisis Manager list for all offices
- Lead the Disaster Recovery Business Continuity New Hire Orientation training weekly
- take notes, create and manage the action items lists
- Maintain the Employees with Limited Abilities List for 1180 Building Management
- The Business Continuity (BC) and Travel Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Director of BC, Travel and Special Projects to oversee and execute the firm's Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Plans.
- Along with the Director, the Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and implementing comprehensive Disaster Recovery plans to ensure support for critical business needs in the event of an emergency or disaster.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- One to three years of experience working in a professional services environment
- Must be capable of handling many tasks simultaneously and working under pressure
- Ability to work with a high degree of independence and exercise solid judgment
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic, client-service-oriented environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational abilities
- Ability to maintain strict confidence and effective working relationships with all firm employees and 3rd party vendors
Nice to have
- Prior law firm or corporate travel program experience are preferred
Compensation
- Coordinate and lead annual training for Crisis Managers for all firm offices
- Monitor the completion rate of the annual certification for all Crisis Managers on the Preparis Site
- Attend the Crisis Leader's annual tabletop exercise
- Attend the Crisis Managers Fall Meeting before the unannounced Annual Emergency Evacuation Drill, take notes, and address emergency backpack replacement requests from Crisis Managers.
- The Coordinator will work under the direction of the Director, running the day-to-day aspect of the Travel Department, including our on-line booking site and various other travel projects (annual corporate hotel list, participation in weekly calls with the firm's travel manager at Lawyers Travel, etc.) and assist as needed with special projects for the firm.
