About the role
- Job Title: Maintenance Technician I Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor Summary: Maintenance Technicians report to the Maintenance Supervisor and are responsible for maintaining and repairing UNEX Manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance throughout the facility
- Use skills to operate machinery and equipment safely within limitations to inspect, maintain, diagnose and repair equipment
- Perform other job-related duties, which may include occasional tasks outside the normal scope of the position
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment
- To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have work authorization that does not now, nor in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment the United States
- Minimum of high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 6-12 months related experience and/or training or equivalent of education and experience
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems

- Noise Level: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high
- This position has the option for two shifts:
- Second shift 3:30 pm-12:00 midnight
