  • The Stadium Corporation The Stadium Corporation is the operating entity of Finley Stadium Davenport Field, the First Horizon Pavilion, and surrounding property.
  • Home to Chattanooga Mocs Football, the Chattanooga Football Club, and the Chattanooga Market, the campus hosts 500,000+ visitors and over 450 events annually.
  • Opened in 1997 as a public-private partnership, Finley Stadium has also hosted the FCS National Championship, US Soccer National Teams, TSSAA Football Championships, concerts, and numerous local and regional events.

Responsibilities

  • Performs emergency, corrective, and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and adjustments on a variety of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical fixtures & components.
  • Leads the Facilities crew in routine maintenance of the campus grounds and landscaping, including mowing, edging, blowing, treating weeds, mulching, pruning, leaf collection, and the planting and care of the native planting beds throughout.
  • Participates in the execution of painting and paint removal operations to create a high quality, clean soccer pitch and convert to football with team specific layouts and logos.
  • Operates and maintains the various pieces of equipment utilized on the field
  • Perform hard-surface maintenance including pressure washing, scrubbing and debris cleanup.
  • Operates and maintains the various pieces of equipment utilized on the field; including the drag, brush, sweep, paint sprayers, and paint remover machine.
  • Serves as Facility Lead on-duty during all football and soccer stadium events.
  • Reporting to the Facilities & Projects Director, the Facilities Lead is directly responsible for executing routine facility upkeep tasks, preventive maintenance, and event preparation activities.
  • This position helps lead the Facilities Team by demonstrating good work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to constantly improve the condition of the facility.
  • The Facilities Lead needs to be self motivated, be able to prioritize tasks, and identify projects that need to be completed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
  • Experience in MEP or facilities maintenance with a mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to lift and carry packages or materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience in operating light machinery and working at heights.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Personable, Detail-oriented, Self-starter, Problem-solver, Team player, and ability to present information to internal and external clients.
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends.
  • Exceptional people skills, and practices the core value of Put People First.
  • A willingness to be hands-on, learn building skills, and make decisions when Facilities lead on-duty.

Nice to have

  • Forklift certification a plus.

Compensation

  • Home to Chattanooga Mocs Football, the Chattanooga Football Club, and the Chattanooga Market, the campus hosts 500,000+ visitors and over 450 events annually.
  • This is a full-time position, with competitive pay and benefits.
  • The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour.
