About the role

The Site Supervisor leads the daily operations of the Be Strong After School Club (BSASC) at Palm Glades Preparatory Academy, located at 22655 SW 112th Ave, Miami, Florida.
This role is responsible for supervising site staff and contractors, ensuring program compliance with district, funder, and organizational requirements, and fostering a safe, engaging, and high-quality environment for students and families.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience guiding or supporting staff.
Proficiency with standard office software (email, spreadsheets, and data systems) and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
This position is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, speak, and hear.
The position requires extensive computer use so the employee must have sufficient hand dexterity to use a computer keyboard and be capable of reading a computer screen.
Employees will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform other job-related duties requested by their supervisor in compliance with Federal and State Laws.
Bachelor's degree is preferred in education, social sciences, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in youth programming, education, or after-school programs.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Must pass Level II background screening and sex offender registry check.
Work Environment
Position may require travel to and from assigned school site.
Must be available during after-school hours, with occasional evenings for events.
Physical Demands: This position is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, speak, and hear. The position requires extensive computer use so the employee must have sufficient hand dexterity to use a computer keyboard and be capable of reading a computer screen. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. up to 20 hours per week, aligned with after-school program hours at the assigned school site and additional responsibilities
Staff Leadership & Oversight
Provide coaching and performance feedback.
Monitor staff attendance, timekeeping, and payroll submissions.
Address performance concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Program Operations & Compliance
Ensure site compliance with district, funder, and organizational policies.
