About the role

  • This role ensures compliance with industry regulations and company policies while coordinating transportation, warehousing, and inventory activities both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Manage routing and transportation to balance cost-efficiency and delivery effectiveness
  • Collaborate with inventory teams to maintain accurate inventory tracking, forecasting, and replenishment
  • Utilize ERP system to maintain accurate shipment documentation
  • Maintain relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehousing partners
  • Partner with Procurement, Manufacturing, QA, and Customer Service
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • The Shipping Administrator-International and Domestic at Bio-Techne is responsible for managing and optimizing complex logistics operations that support the timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of biotech products.
  • The position collaborates cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement and provide outstanding logistics support.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a warehouse environment

Skills

  • Demonstrated understanding of domestic and international shipping documentation and processes.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (Microsoft AX or similar preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Organizational skills with an emphasis on accuracy, follow-through, and documentation.

Compensation
