About the role
- ICF's Environment & Planning Division is hiring On Call Archaeologists who are based near Puget Sound (greater Seattle area).
- The On-Call Archaeologist will assist senior archaeologists primarily in fieldwork, with tasks including survey, testing, evaluation, data recovery, and construction monitoring.
- However, other duties could include laboratory analysis, conducting background research, assistance with report preparation, and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements
- This position requires excellent field skills, the ability to identify precontract and historic-period artifacts, and taking detailed field notes.
- Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field
- Must have valid driver's license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check. What We Would Like You To Have
- Field experience with the ability to conduct field visits in the Pacific Northwest.
- Background in precontact or historic-period archaeology is required.

- What You Must Have • Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field • 2+ years of field experience in archaeological monitoring and survey • Must have valid driver's license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
Compensation
- While the range below is broader for career development, this position will offer an hourly pay range as follows: On-Call Archaeologist $25-30/per hour
- On-Call Archaeologist (Crew Lead) $30-35/per hour. What You Must Have
