About the role

  • The Field QA/QC Tech will be responsible for implementing company's Mission Critical HVAC Control QAQC plan, under supervision of the QAQC manager.

Responsibilities

  • Independently interpret blueprints and other technical documents.
  • Perform functional testing of the specified sequence of operations to ensure proper operation of the control equipment Troubleshooting to ensure proper performance of all field devices, controllers, and associated wiring.
  • This includes office-based analytical and reporting work, as well as traveling to any job site in the field to perform conformance checks and support.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in installing, configuring, and commissioning BMS systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of BMS protocols, hardware, software, and programming languages to troubleshoot complex system issues and coach more junior team members.
  • If certification is not current or has not been completed, OSHA 10 training will be provided and must be successfully completed within the first week of employment.
  • Extensive travel is required.
  • Required to work daily at the office in Irving when not traveling.
