About the role
- This role combines technical leadership, project management, client relationship management, and team development.
- We are looking for an experienced professional who enjoys leading multidisciplinary project teams, mentoring technical staff, and delivering exceptional service to clients.
- The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, including healthcare, infrastructure, mixed-use developments, institutional facilities, and commercial facilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage electrical engineering projects from inception to completion, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.
- Lead project planning, proposal development, fee estimates, work plans, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including architectural, mechanical, structural, interior design, and construction professionals.
- Review and oversee electrical designs, calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documents.
- Attend and lead client meetings, coordination meetings, site visits, and project reviews.
- Support business development activities and maintain strong client relationships.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain project objectives.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and professional development of team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, life safety, communications, and security systems.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
- experience with Revit would be considered an asset.

- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
