Responsibilities
- Part-Time Support
- Employees who are part-time internal candidates, as defined by the Part-Time Support Collective Agreement, will be given first consideration.
Requirements
- Three (3) year diploma/degree in Museum Studies, Conservation, Exhibit Preparation, Fine Arts, or equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years of experience
- Preferably Experience in the cultural/movable Heritage sector, and/or in a lab environment related to the position
- Hands-on experience with lab setup, modification, and teardown
- Proficiency in maintaining, using, and supervising a variety of general-purpose and specialized tools, instruments, and equipment
- Knowledge of safe storage and handling of chemical substances, fluids, and compressed gases
- Strong understanding of lab safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to lab equipment and setup
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff and learners
- Experience in the cultural/movable heritage sector is an asset
Compensation

- $40.62-$47.06-Hourly
