About the role

As a Founding Designer at Metriport, you'll spend your time understanding customer workflows, defining the right solution to those problems, and making sure everything we ship - product, marketing, brand - looks and feels right.
The tradeoff is that the scope is wide and the bar is high.
If that sounds like too much, it probably is.

Build and maintain the design system Establish a coherent design language - components, spacing, typography, color - that is simple and that engineers can build to without hand-holding.
Design features end to end Take features from rough concept to detailed spec, working closely with founders, PM, and engineers to ship solutions that are functional and feel considered.
Talk to, and advocate for, users Understand their workflows, form an opinionated view on the right solution, and drive toward it.
Own brand and marketing design Design across all marketing surfaces - website, sales collateral, event materials.
you set the design standard, you own the output, and you're not waiting on anyone else's approval.
