About the role

  • PPG's Aerospace Business is looking for an Entry Level Coatings Lab Technician at our Manufacturing Facility based in Mojave, CA!
  • Every batch of product we produce requires someone like you to do testing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic mathematical equations.
  • Participate in all safety protocols and 5S programs and help to maintain the laboratory equipment and inventories.
  • Keep a clean work environment, to include the execution of routine upkeep activities to support the entire lab.
  • Inspect, test, and perform evaluations on products.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.
  • The base salary range for this position is $51,700 to $56,000, with a possibility of an annual bonus up to 2.5% of base salary. Nice to have

  • Proficiency in using ERP System (QAD preferred) and standard office software applications.
  • Related technical certifications with coatings and sealants preferred.
  • Previous experience working in an aerospace laboratory environment preferred.

Compensation

  • The base salary range for this position is $51,700 to $56,000, with a possibility of an annual bonus up to 2.5% of base salary.
